Fact Checking Fundamentals Online

Fact Checking Fundamentals is a one-hour workshop that shows users how to fact-check digital information, with a particular emphasis on information found on social and internet media. Participants will learn how to apply the SIFT method in a variety of contexts.

Learning Objectives include:

Learners will apply fact-checking principles to social media misinformation.
Learners will explain why fact-checking is important.
Learners will articulate what makes a given source trustworthy.
