Publishing Workshop In-Person

Outcomes:

  • Ability to recognize different clauses in a publishing contract
  • Know where to find publishing opportunities
  • Understand the importance of Open Access

We will explore the different parts of a publishing contract and how to amend a contract to secure copyright in the name of the author. We will also look at different places to find publishing opportunities and discuss the importance of publishing Open Access. This workshop is hands-on: if you have a copy of a publishing contract you don’t mind sharing, please bring it!
